Playa de Palma is the nearest beach resort to the capital of the Island Palma. The beach stretches from Can Pastilla all the way to Arenal, a tortal of around 4 kilometres. The beach stretches for around 7 kilometres and is a mix of inlets as well as long stretches of powder soft sand. A few beach bars/restaurants are available or take a pic-nic and chill out for the day.
If you just go inland a bit from Playa de Palma you can find a few horse riding stables. It makes a nice change to ride leasurly through the sand dunes and finnish off with a nice cold beer. Palma is a must for a days sightseeing or to have an afternoon shopping followed by a nice dinner in one of its many fine restaurants. The Island offers many activities and excursions. Something for everybody.
